Cancellation Policy

At The Millet Lovers, we strive to ensure a smooth and seamless experience for all our customers. We understand that plans can change, so we’ve created a flexible cancellation policy to accommodate your needs while maintaining the quality and timeliness of our food services.

1. General Cancellation Policy:

​​1.1. Order Cancellations: 

  • Timeframe for Cancellations: You can cancel your order within 12 hours of placing it without incurring any charges. If your order has already been processed or shipped, cancellations may not be possible.

  • How to Cancel: To cancel an order, please contact our customer service team immediately via:

1.2. Cancellations After Processing: If your order has already been processed or prepared for shipment (especially in the case of perishable items), we may not be able to cancel it. In this case, you may refer to our Return and Refund Policy for further assistance on returning eligible non-perishable items or addressing issues with perishable goods.

 

2. Cancellation of Subscription Services:

​If you are subscribed to any of our recurring delivery services, you can manage your subscription and cancel at any time through your The Millet Lovers account.

  • Subscription Cancellation Notice: Please provide a cancellation notice at least 2 days before your next scheduled delivery to avoid being charged for the upcoming shipment.

  • How to Cancel Subscriptions:

    • Log in to your account on our website.

    • Go to the "My Subscriptions" section.

    • Select "Cancel" next to the subscription you wish to terminate.

    If you need assistance, contact our customer service team via email or phone.

 

3. Perishable Items Policy:

​Since many of our products are made fresh and perishable, cancellations for certain items must be handled promptly to ensure product quality:

  • Perishable Goods: Orders for fresh or perishable goods can only be canceled within 06 hours after the order has been placed. Once preparation or shipment has begun, we are unable to cancel or refund the order due to the perishable nature of the products.

  • Non-Perishable Goods: Non-perishable items can be canceled before shipment. If they have already shipped, you may return them in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

 

4. Refunds for Canceled Orders:

  • Cancellations Within the Allowed Timeframe: If you cancel your order within the allowed timeframe, you will receive a full refund. Refunds are typically processed within 6 to 8 business days and will be issued to the original payment method.

  • Cancellations After Processing: If cancellation is not possible due to the order being processed, we will do our best to work with you to resolve any issues.

 

5. Special Events and Bulk Orders:

​For special event orders, catering, or bulk purchases:

  • Cancellation Deadlines: We require at least 03 days notice for cancellations of large or custom orders, including catering and wholesale purchases.

  • Deposit Refunds: If a deposit was made for a bulk or event order, full refunds are only available if cancellations are made within 03 days of the scheduled delivery or pickup date. For cancellations made after this period, a partial refund may be provided based on the progress of order preparation.

7. Important Notes:

  • Cancellations after the cutoff time may not be possible for certain items, particularly fresh or perishable products.

  • Refund timelines may vary depending on your payment provider. Most refunds are processed within 1 to 7 business days after confirmation.

  • For any further details or unique situations, please refer to our Return and Refund Policy or reach out to our customer care team.

 

Note: Meher Sang Foods believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:

Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 2 days of placing the order. However, the cancellation request may not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.

  • Meher Sang Foods does not accept cancellation requests for perishable items like flowers, eatables etc. However, refund/replacement can be made if the customer establishes that the quality of product delivered is not good. 

  • In case of receipt of damaged or defective items please report the same to our Customer Service team. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. This should be reported within 2 days of receipt of the products. 

  • In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 2 days of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision. 

  • In case of complaints regarding products that come with a warranty from manufacturers, please refer the issue to them. 

  • In case of any Refunds approved by the Meher Sang Foods, it’ll take 6-8 days for the refund to be processed to the end customer.
